Pieces appear to be machine-pieced
Hand quilted throughout with visible hand stitching
Quilting features a loose, overlapping curved/looping design that can be seen especially well from the reverse
Finished with a deep teal-blue outer border and coordinating binding
Backed entirely in a classic black and white gingham/check fabric
The irregular shapes and placement of the fabrics give the quilt an almost abstract or folk-art quality
Unlike a traditional Victorian crazy quilt, this example is made primarily from practical cotton fabrics without decorative embroidery
