Measures approximately 72” x 81”
- Constructed in a simple one-patch design using hundreds of individually pieced fabric squares

Wonderful assortment of vintage fabrics including florals, ginghams, checks, polka dots, paisleys, stripes and small-scale prints
- Color palette includes deep teal and blue, red, brown, gray, cream, aqua, black and touches of pink and purple
- Fabrics appear to be primarily cotton and include what were likely remnants from clothing, household sewing and other projects

Quilt top appears to be machine pieced

Layers are secured with traditional hand-tied cream yarn ties throughout rather than all-over quilting

Backed in a small-scale blue, brown and cream woven check fabric
- Lightweight, soft and nicely worn from age and use
- A wonderful example of an everyday utility quilt made from available scraps rather than a formally planned quilt pattern
- Displays beautifully folded over a chair, at the foot of a bed, over the back of a sofa or stacked with other vintage textiles
- Vintage condition with noticeable age-related wear including some staining
- Freshly laundered and air dried
- Several fabrics have areas of thinning, small holes and fabric loss; one area near an edge has more significant fraying and deterioration
- Additional scattered wear and small imperfections are present throughout, consistent with the quilt’s age and history of use
- Edge wear is also present
